Milan is the Italian city that has grown more vertically through the construction of skyscrapers and contains unique examples of modern architecture. The first picture of this series, shot in 2008, shows the silhouette of a worker in the early days of the construction site of the Unicredit Tower who seems to be projecting into the city of the future. Since then, the buildings grew up quickly and now constitutes, with the spikes of the Duomo church and the profile of Palazzo Lombardia, the iconic skyline of the city. The other design skyscrapers erected in the CityLife district, respectively called the Straight, the Crooked, and the Concave, nestle amidst one of the most modern and technologically advanced residential areas of the city.

Milano è la città italiana che più delle altre è cresciuta verticalmente con i suoi grattacieli e, per questo, contiene esempi unici di architettura moderna. La prima immagine della serie, del 2008, raffigura la silhouette di un operaio nei primi giorni del cantiere della Torre Unicredit che sembra proiettarsi verso la città futura. Da allora l’edificio è cresciuto rapidamente entrando a far parte, insieme alle guglie del Duomo e al profilo di Palazzo Lombardia, dello skyline simbolo della città. Gli altri edifici eretti nel distretto di CityLife, e soprannominati il dritto, lo storto e il concavo, sorgono in una delle più moderne e tecnologicamente avanzate aree residenziali della città.
